New union referendum voting result

Local 87-M's general membership voted 78 percent in favour of endorsing the proposal for a new union joining CEP and the CAW during an online referendum conducted from Sept 10-17. The Local's delegates to the CEP convention will be bound to vote on Oct. 15 according to the wishes of the membership, as expressed in the referendum.
